Hatch Chile Devil's Food Cookies

Yield: 50 cookies

Ingredients

Add Devil's Food cake mix to shopping list 1 box Devil's Food cake mix

Add New Mexico Hatch Chile Powder (chiles dried and ground) to shopping list 2 teaspoons New Mexico Hatch Chile Powder (chiles dried and ground)

Add unsalted butter, melted to shopping list 1 cup unsalted butter, melted

Shopping List: Select Shopping List Adds all checked () ingredients to your Shopping List.

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix and the chile powder. Add the melted butter and mix until you get cookie dough consistency. Place teaspoon size balls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in the oven and bake for 12 minutes. Remove from the baking sheet to cool.

A very light cookie with a subtle kick.
